November 1, 2002

 Dear Exhibitor:

On behalf of the membership of the International Aviculturists Society, we would like to invite all concerned members of the Avicultural community and industry to participate in IAS's seventh convention. The theme is Parrots: Perspectives and Solutions from Aviculture and Field Conservation. Our convention will be held from the evening of Wednesday, January 15 through midday Sunday, January 19, 2003 , at the Sheraton West Palm Beach Hotel at City Place , 630 Clearwater Park Road, West Palm Beach , Florida 33401 .  Reservations: 800/325-3535, 561/833-1234.

We will bring together aviculturists, field researchers, conservationists, zoo curators, veterinarians, and welfare representatives to discuss the latest information in their fields.  Our goal is to find solutions, map new strategies and forge new partnerships for future efforts in parrot breeding, management, welfare, research and conservation.

Registration and exhibitor set up will be Wednesday, January 15, 2003 .  We will include in the participant’s registration packet a list of all exhibitors and their locations on the display floor.  Set up times and booth assignments will be forwarded with a booth confirmation later.

On Wednesday evening after registration for the attendees and set up for the exhibitors, we will plan a few hours for a “Meet the Exhibitors & Speakers” in the Hospitality Room.  This would be a great opportunity for you to make yourself known to the IAS attendees and they can discuss products, etc. with you.

The conference will start on Thursday, January 16th.  The IAS convention will be promoted and advertised in many local markets, including bird club promotion, and shows, and we will be encouraging a lot of local traffic as a result of this marketing strategy.  Please keep in mind that Florida is considered to be one of the most populated states for aviculture-so you really have a great opportunity to show your products to more prospective customers than just the IAS attendees!

Vendor spaces are limited so send in your application today!  Booth assignments will be determined upon receiving paid contract for the convention and will also be on a first come first serve basis. So, don’t delay!

Please let us know if you have any questions. Please see the form for Exhibit Space.

We thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you in January!

 Sincerely,

 Mark Lowrey

 Melanie Allen
